Tap water is free in Disney Parks. If you don't want to carry a bottle to refill all day, you can get a free cup at any quickservice location.
Bottled water is available, but will not be cheap!
You will have the chance to buy ears to wear for your trip after our dinner at Disney Springs- most Disney merch is available at World of Disney.
If you see something that is park or ride specific, you'll need to grab it in the parks!
There are lockers for rent at the front of each park. If you buy an item and don't want to hold onto it all day, or don't want to carry around a backpack, you can rent a locker to put it in.
There's lots of great food in Disney Parks, but you can quicky spend a ton of money!
Check menus in the parks ahead of time and see if there are any must try items so you have a gameplan!
Outside food is allowed at Disney Parks. If you'd like to bring in snacks or sealed drinks you may do so and keep them in a locker or in your bag for the day!
If you haven't already, you need to create a My Disney Experience account for the trip. You can do this on a desktop or in the Walt Disney World App.
**If you plan to use the mobile tap option on your Apple Watch or on your phone, you will need your own account**
This app will be your go-to lifeline for several things while we're in the Disney Parks:
Your ticket will be linked to your account, and you can use your phone to tap into the parks instead of your key card.
You can check wait times on rides throughout the park.
You'll be able to see entertainment times and schedules for special activities here- all of the character meet and greets will be included in the daily schedule.
Order food- most quick service locations have a Mobile Order line if you're paying with a card or a Disney Gift Card. You can preorder your food and skip the wait at the designated window.
Send Cast Compliments- if someone on staff made your day special or you just want to give them a shout out, you can do that in this app!
PARK MAPS- if you're not familiar with the parks, you can use the app to figure out where you're going. You will be able to find rides, characters, shops, and restrooms in this app. There are also printed maps at the front of each park.
Lightning Lanes- I DO NOT recommend these for this trip, but if you wanted to buy a lightning lane pass you'd have the option to. These are $15-30 per person per day, so for our group they aren't the best option.
Be sure to stop by any store and ask for a free pin- whether you're celebrating your first visit to Walt Disney World, graduation, your birthday, or just that you're excited to be out of school, a castmember will write your name and give you a free pin to wear around!
Anywhere you see a photopass photographer, you can get your photo taken for free! This also includes ride photos.
DAZZLERS MUST SCAN THEIR TICKETS FOR PHOTOS TO LINK!
For more info while you plan, I recommend jumping on to YouTube!
My favorite Disney YouTube Channel is Mammoth Club- Molly and Alan talk about tips and tricks for rides, food, and other hidden things in the parks! There are plenty of other options if you want to get an idea of what to expect!
